PubXtv: Bible Prophecy That Is Happening Right Now #bibleprophecy #bible #shorts

Unlucky in love? Trouble in paradise? Unrequited affections? Dry your eyes mate, because the Ancient Egyptians had just the thing for you! A love spell! According to the ‘Handbook of Ritual Power’, a 1300 year old text written in Coptic that was inscribed with spells, curses and helpful incantations, it wasn’t the fact that you couldn’t get a girlfriend, it was the fact that your would-be girlfriend just didn’t know who you were. Such spells were believed not to necessarily bewitch a woman into falling in love, but more so to give fate a nudge and speed things up.

The biblical story of David and Goliath is one of the most famous tales found in the story of the Old Testament. The narrative reflects our own individual struggle throughout life, not just necessarily from a religious point of view, but in a more human sense. We all have challenges to overcome and sometimes those challenges may dwarf us and seem impossible to defeat. Because of this, many are able to resonate with David – the poor shepherd boy who, equipped with just a sling and a stone, was able to successfully slay the giant Goliath and overcome his personal challenge in what was probably one of the biggest upsets in the valley of the Philistines. So taken are we by the courage, resolve and faith of David and how it might apply to us, that often, we might overlook the actual villain of which he deposed. Goliath.
